Did you know this bazaar was built by Shah Jahan in the 17th century and he also built the famous Taj Mahal in Agra? This is the oldest, busiest ,congested, crowded, colourful market located in Old Delhi.

There are all sorts of things to see and buy in Chandni Chowk-spices, leather goods, silverware,  jewelries, textiles, silk, shawls and many more items. The streets are very narrow and the best way to explore is by walking and do take your time and look around for a bargain. Number of rickshaws are also available to get around the narrow streets.

The flower market is something you do not want to miss, however, you must get to the bazaar fairly early in the morning. There are lots of eating places, however, ensure that the food is safe.
