Painted trucks are common in India and the design is specific to the individual driver.
The designs varies from region to region. Truck drivers are away from home for months, so they transform their trucks into mobile homes and paint outside and inside of the truck to remind them of home.
Most of the decorations is to do with luck on the road and keeping away from bad omens. You will notice a demon face on the front of the truck , to keep away evil eye. The religious symbols are for protection and safe journey.
